Wouter Meys

Wouter is Manager at the Centre of Applied Research of Art, Design & Technology (CARADT).

Wouter holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in information science. Starting his career with education and research roles in the creative industries, he subsequently held various managerial positions in applied research settings.

In the past, Wouter has worked as a research coordinator and programme manager for several research departments and lectorates. He strives to effect change through the quintuple helix model – via the engagement of art, design, and technology.

Wouter is passionate about working on applied research programmes that address societal problems. He fosters creativity and imagination by connecting applied research, education, and industry, within wider society.
