We are excited to announce that we have a new opportunity for a Professor Biodesign and More-Than-Human Perspectives to lead transformative research bridging human and non-human worlds. In this position you are offered a unique chance to lead transformative research bridging human and non-human worlds, at the intersection of life sciences, design, and technology. Caradt is thrilled to seek a new professor to explore the fascinating intersection of life sciences, design, and technology, particularly AI. At Caradt, we’re inspired by pioneers like Donna Haraway, Anna Tsing, and Puig de la Bellacasa, who advocate for a paradigm shift towards recognizing our entanglement with other species. Their work underlines the importance of developing more-than-human sensibilities in biodesign, a perspective we’re eager to explore further through the addition of a new professor specializing in biodesign and AI.

This role involves leading innovative research, publishing findings, developing and teaching courses, mentoring, and fostering collaborations. It’s a unique opportunity to push the boundaries of biodesign and more-than-human perspectives. This role will not only push the boundaries of design but also contribute significantly to our understanding and relationship with the non-human world.
